Writing a Thesis Statement
I hope you are taking the time to revise in the holidays and are writing essays. To help improve your essay writing skills this post will focus on thesis statements. A thesis statement is a sentence (or sentences) that expresses the main ideas of your essay and answers the question or questions posed by the essay question. It offers the marker a quick and easy to follow summary of what the essay will be discussing and what you as a writer are setting out to tell them.
