This post is for the Year 12 students who will be starting their Oral Presentations soon. The task will require you to deliver a persuasive speech. In the video below 13 year old Severin Suzuki speaks to the United Nations in 1992 on behalf of ECO (Environmental Children’s Organisation). The title on this Youtube video reads “the girl who silenced the world for five minutes” and it is very persuasive presentation. Severin’s speech is spoken beautifully, emotionally and truthfully and I urge you to watch it.
